Give Yourself Permission to Go For It
I’m going to hold your hand when I say this:
You don’t need clarity. You need permission.
Sure, there are lots of details about your next career move or life change you don’t yet know. But seriously: you know a lot more than you give yourself credit for.
Getting clarity isn’t about gathering more information, more data, more knowledge.
It’s about giving yourself permission.
Permission to say what you want. To take action that sounds right and true for you. To go for it – without iron-clad proof that no one could argue with.
Somewhere along the way, you learned that you need to justify your choices and decisions beyond your own conviction.
That it needs to “make sense” and “be logical” – or worse, be a decision that other people agree with – before you can get started.
I know it, because the same was true for me – for a very long time. I talked myself out of so many dreams and ideas – discounting them as too out there, too wild, too juvenile, not serious enough.
Now I know the truth: it doesn’t need to make sense to anyone but you.
So: what if you could wave a magic wand and erase all those doubts?
If you could dream up your ideal reality and not worry about it making sense (or making anyone mad) …
What would you wish for?
[If this is landing for you – let’s talk. This is exactly the kind of conversation we'd have in a coaching session.]
I literally keep a magic wand on my desk – just for moments like this!
So, I want you to imagine that you and I are sitting with each other.
We’re in your favorite place – maybe a local coffee shop, on a shaded park bench, or on your couch, cozy mugs in hand.
And I’m handing you my magic wand.
This wand is special because it grants you anything you wish. Not only that, it grants you the permission – the bravery, the courage, the conviction – to make what you wish for possible.
What are you wishing for?
And, importantly…
What would it look like to give yourself permission to go for it?
That’s one of the most powerful parts of coaching with me – getting clear on what you’re wishing for, and going for it.
No judgment. No “that’s not possible for you.” No “show me the evidence of an ROI.”
Instead?
You’re working with a dreaming partner – who’s also very, very skilled at the doing part. Who can guide you to break your big dream into bite-sized chunks. And who will be cheering for you, every step of the way.
Grab a spot on my calendar – let's figure this out together.
I’m rooting for you!
Onward,
